MST – Multiple Spot or Average Temperature Sensor
A number of spot elements are placed at different heights to provide a tank temperature profile and an average temperature. Only fully immersed elements are used to determine product temperature. The MST can be integrated with a water level sensor.
WLS –Water Level Sensor
The water level sensor is used to determine the water content in a tank. At the bottom of an oil storage tank there is water and by measuring the water level it is possible to calculate the correct product volume in the tank.
DAU 2100 - Data Acquisition Unit
DAU 2100 is a display unit for outdoor use in hazardous areas. In addition, up to 14 temperature sensors can be connected to the DAU. It is powered from and communicates through the radar level gauge.
RDU 40 – Remote Display Unit
RDU 40 is a robust display unit for outdoor use in hazardous areas which can be connected up to 100 m (330 ft) from the gauge. If the number of temperature elements per tank is 6 or less, it is the most cost efficient field display.
FCU 2160 – Field Communication Unit
The FCU polls data from Rosemount tank gauging field devices and stores the values in a buffer memory. When a request for data is received, the FCU can send data from
up to 32 tanks.
